Grit size: 100/180 (Higher the number, the softer the grit) (Lower the number, the coarser the grit)

• 100 grit- Used to take the length down and to shape side walls and free edge.
• 180 grit- Used to contour the whole nail, prep natural nail before applying any products. Also to shorten or shape free edges on natural nails

Important: It is important to prep the edges of your brand new nail file before use. Sides/edges of a brand new file can be very sharp and can easily cut your cuticles or side walls of skin. Simply take another file and run it along all edges of your new file to soften and dull it. This will prevent cutting of the skin.
